Merve BAYEL AKGÜL
I was born in Şahinbey/Gaziantep in 1990. I completed my primary and secondary education at Mehmet Adil Kasapşeckin Primary School. I completed my high school education at Gaziantep Anatolian High School. In 2009, I gained admission to Ankara Başkent University Faculty of Dentistry. After graduating in 2014, I worked at a private clinic. In 2015, I started working as a research assistant at the Department of Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, İnönü University, ranking 37th in the Dental Specialty Exam (DUS) in Turkey. I completed my specialization training and obtained the title of Orthodontic Specialist in 2020 by presenting my thesis titled “Evaluation of the Effects of Ultrasonic Device and Sandblasting Techniques Applied Before Reuse of Brackets with Different Base Designs on Bond Strength” and passing the scientific examination. Afterwards, I worked as an Orthodontic Specialist at Malatya Oral and Dental Health Center. I have numerous academic and scientific studies. I have participated in many congresses and symposiums both in Turkey and abroad. I have a good command of English. I am married and a mother of two child.
In 2021, I continue my profession as an Orthodontic Specialist at DENTAKGÜL ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH POLYCLINIC, which I established with my husband, who is a Periodontal Specialist, and my father, who is a Dentist.
