Semih AKGÜL
I was born in Osmangazi, Bursa in 1990. I completed my primary and middle school education at Özel İnal Ertekin Elementary School and Emine Örnek College. I completed my high school education at Bursa Anatolian High School. In 2009, I was admitted to Ankara Başkent University Faculty of Dentistry on a scholarship and graduated in 2014. After graduation, I worked at a private clinic. In 2015, I started working as a research assistant in the Department of Periodontology at İnönü University Faculty of Dentistry, ranking 332nd in the Dentistry Specialty Exam (DUS) in Turkey. I completed my specialization training and received the title of Periodontologist in 2019 by presenting my thesis titled “Evaluation of the Effects of Low-Dose Diode Laser and Ozone Therapies on Wound Healing Following Gingivectomy and Gingivoplasty Operations” and passing the scientific exam. Afterward, I worked as a Periodontology specialist at Malatya Oral and Dental Health Center. I have numerous academic and scientific studies. I have participated in many conferences and symposiums both in Turkey and abroad. I am fluent in English. I am married and have two child.
Since 2021, I have been continuing my profession as a Periodontology specialist at DENTAKGÜL ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH POLYCLINIC, which I established with my orthodontist wife and dentist father.
